Falling

At North University, reputations are built on the ice... and broken just as fast.
Wren Hackerly has one rule: never quit. Figure skating has always been her entire world — until a brutal public humiliation by her ex leaves her confidence shattered and her future uncertain. With her college team's morale sinking and funding on the line, Wren needs a comeback that will make everyone pay attention again.
Miles Davis is North University's golden boy — a hockey star with effortless charm and movie-star looks. But after a devastating team tragedy, Miles is the only one who hasn't found his way back to the ice. The sport that once defined him now feels like a weight he can't carry.
When a harmless bet turns into a fake date, Wren and Miles stumble into an unexpected solution: a staged relationship that could repair her reputation and help him rediscover his spark. It's simple. Strategic. Temporary.
Until it isn't.
Because somewhere between late-night practices, stolen glances, and a single bed they definitely weren't supposed to share, the line between fake and real starts to blur. And when Miles' quiet kindness begins to thaw Wren's guarded heart, they're forced to face the truth:
What happens when the feelings aren't part of the plan?
