I am so pleased to introduce the Mental Health Matters tshirt. For those who may not know, I have worked in mental health on an acute adult psychiatry unit since 2022. It has been such an eye opening and meaningful part of my career. I am no longer working at the hospital as often as I have been perusing my business more heavily.
There are many obvious needs for those who are struggling with mental health and are seeking care. One gap I have noticed throughout my work experience is the need for clothing while hospitalized and once discharged from treatment. Many individuals who are admitted to the psychiatric unit come in without any clothing and are placed in paper scrubs. With this in mind, I have been wanting to donate sweatshirts to the psychiatric unit for patients to wear during their stay + take with them once they leave.
In order to make this happen, 15% of all proceeds of the Mental Health Matters tshirt will go to funding the creation of these sweatshirts. Sweatshirts will be donated at the beginning of each month! Follow along on my social media as I will be updating on the amount of sweatshirts donated each month!
Some details about the shirt: they are a black pocket tshirt and are unisex. If you choose the sweatshirt option, please note it does not have a pocket.
